Are you looking forward to bikini shopping this year? Well, you will – once you add a treadmill workout for weight loss to your fitness regime.
The HIIT method of training is fairly popular but on its heels is the Bite Method which also promises fantastic results. This method claims to not only help you lose weight but run faster than ever before.
Truth be told, the amount of fat and calories you burn during a workout is dependent on so many variables. Here are just a few:
Intensity – How hard are you working during any given point of the workout? Is it low or is it high intensity? Are you varying intensity or keeping it stable for the duration?
Speed – How fast or slow are you going? Not quite the same as intensity. Think 6.0 mph on a 1% incline versus 6.0 mph on a 5.5 % incline. One focuses more on speed while the other combines both speed and intensity to really challenge the body.
Physical Fitness – Your current level of fitness will also play into how efficient your body is at burning fat and calories.Your current physical fitness level may also limit the level of intensity and speed you’ll be able to bring to the workout.
Lucky for us all, some really smart people have put together some awesome treadmill workout plans that promise the results we want. All we need to do now is pick one, step on the rubber and press “Start”. Don’t forget your fitness tracker!
